Light, bright and airy, Carly's incredible living room renovation was a masterpiece to watch her style and 'shoot. Blending the much loved Hampton's trend with a touch of modern elegance, the space is just as functional as it is beautiful for the busy family of four.

Carly explained, "I really wanted to have timber French doors, but they weren't practical for us and are really quite expensive too. I compromised and had aluminium sliding doors installed with a colonial beading to give it the same look and feel, but at half the price!"

"The fireplace was by far our biggest expense (which we were not expecting!), but it has ended up being so worth it. I'm really glad we stretched our budget to make it happen; cosying up in front of it during winter was the best."
